Django’s Smokehouse is an award-winning BBQ restaurant, bar and grill in the heart of Didcot, just two minutes from the Orchard Centre. We serve American fusion BBQ, wings, burgers, cocktails and more in a relaxed, family-friendly setting. Our restaurant has accessible facilities, baby-changing facilities and free Wi-Fi, making Django’s a great choice for family meals and group dining. At Django’s, we’re all about slow cooking, big taste and doing BBQ properly. Based in Didcot, Oxfordshire, we smoke our meats low and slow over wood, using carefully selected cuts, house-made rubs, sauces and sides. Inspired by BBQ traditions and our Asian restaurant roots, our menu puts a Django’s twist on smokehouse favourites, from smoked meats and bao buns to Korean BBQ, loaded sides and seasonal specials. We also take Django’s on the road with our catering trailer, serving weddings, festivals, events and pop-ups across Oxfordshire and beyond.

“We went a week ago and it was so good, we went back last night with friends. The meat here is absolutely exceptional, perfectly cooked and melt in the mouth. This time we also tried the range of loaded fries, which were all incredible (although if anything the portion sizes are maybe too generous – we took a doggy bag home). “I’ve only eaten at Django’s a couple of times, one of which was the very first night, but the experience has been pleasant and friendly, and the food is excellent, of particular note are, of all things, the cauliflower wings, in a Korean BBQ glaze specifically, easily the best I’ve had and a pleasant surprise, maybe even a shock, to skeptical family! “This amazing family-owned restaurant in Didcot is a real gem. Do try the Chicken Tenders with Django’s own BBQ sauce, it is heavenly. For mains, we had Low ‘n’ slow Pulled Pork, Pork Spared Ribs and Pulled BBQ Jackfruit which is perfect if you don’t eat meat. We shared these and they were fantastic. We will go back soon to try their Brisket and the Beef Short Rib which is the chef’s favourite. Finally: the french fries. Such a basic thing yet so many pubs and restaurants get it wrong. Here it was just perfect! Please do take time to enjoy the amazing work that went into this place, this building is beautiful, inside out.”

“Went on Easter Sunday for their special smokehouse roast, which was delicious. Meat was cooked well (as were the trimmings to accompany the roast) and the service was excellent. Dealt well with allergies (nuts, fish and milk) and were able to comfortably accommodate a pram. Decor is nice and comfy, the cocktail bar upstairs looks great too.”
